For your consideration from a recent estate is a Lortone LU6X-130 which is one of the most versatile combintion units that you will ever see. The saw has a new 6″ Covington Blade that has the box. There is a vise for small slabbing which is removable and a clear plastic cover to help hold the saw mist down. It has a 6″ X 1″ 100 grit carborundum grinding wheel and a 6″ X 2 1/2 inch Raytech Expandable drum. On the end is a 6″ disc for mounting a polishing surface. The sponge rubber should be replaced before doing that and when you do there is a 6″ heavy felt pad and a 6″ piece of cowhide so you will have 2 nice polishing options. The right end of the shaft is tapped to take 1/4 20 polishing heads like the Flexo-Discs or the like. The gentleman that owned this piece had it plumbed for a gravity feed water system as you can see in the photos it is clean and done well. It is powered by a 1/3 h.p. Emerson motor that runs at 1725 r.p.m. s. we have several sanding belts some new and some used that will be included with a standard aluminum template and some dop sticks.
